New Range of Services

Virotec Global Solutions is pleased to announce the launch of a new range of environmental and sustainable services to industries throughout Australia. These value-added services complement Virotec’ already extensive range of technology services, which for ten years, has served Australian companies and government agencies in solving intractable environmental remediation and waste treatment problems.

Over the last decade Virotec has delivered state-of-the art technologies to more than 17 different industries, including mining and metals processing, the oil and gas sector, metals finishing and other manufacturing industries, municipal sewage treatment, property development and marine dredging, and timber preservation.

Virotec’s capability in developing processes to remediate harmful wastes and solve soil and water contamination and environmental degradation so successfully has lead us to expand our portfolio of services to include “Value-Added Services”. As Daniel Blair, Virotec’s General Manager, pointed out, “these new services allow us not only to solve environmental problems but also allow the customer to better understand the extent, risks and viable solutions to those problems.”

The new services augment Virotec’s service offering by extending our capability to include environmental assessments and management planning, site assessments and contaminated land auditing services. Virotec’s new environmental and sustainability services include:

• Environmental Assessment
  • Risk Assessment: With a scientifically based recommendation, Virotec analyses the potential impact that toxic substances can cause to human health and environment.

• Site Assessment
  • Virotec can provide a tailored site assessment report to suit the customer needs, ranging from simple studies to a more complex and detailed assessment utilizing Australian based standards that can be modified depending on the customer’s requirements.  

• Contaminated Land Auditing
  • Our accredited professionals can offer advice on contaminated land auditing. Auditing works are generally undertaken to analyse former industrial sites to allow redevelopment of the land. Recommendations for appropriate use of the land and assessment and/or remediation validation reports are provided.
