Virotec Global Solutions Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that it has developed and launched a range of new technology delivery service capabilities related to wastewater treatment. 01/12/09 - Long-Term Strategic Agreements

Virotec Global Solutions Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that it has entered into long-term strategic agreements with three partners in the Asia-Pacific region. The three agreements allow for Virotec’s services to be provided to customers in South Korea, Philippines and New Zealand.

06/11/09 - Treating Contaminated Stormwater

Virotec Global Solutions today released a new Technical Data Sheet summarising its recent work in treating stormwater. The Technical Data Sheet, which is available for download from Virotec’s web site, highlights the work the company has conducted in Australia.  Dr Lee Fergusson, Virotec’s Chief Executive Officer and principal author of the Technical Data Sheet, noted that “stormwater is a significantly under-estimated source of urban and rural contamination.

13/08/09 - Power Plant Wastewater Treatment

Virotec Global Solutions today released a new Technical Data Sheet summarising its recent work in treating several different types of waste streams from the coal-fired power generation industry. The Technical Data Sheet, which is available for download from Virotec web site, highlights the work the company has conducted in Australia and USA, and is currently the subject of intensive interest in its ViroFlow™ Technology processes by the U.S. Government.

21/02/09 - Mercury Treatment

Virotec Global Solutions is pleased to announce that it has entered into a contract valued in excess of $700,000 to treat mercury-contaminated filter cake using its patented ViroFlow™ Technology for one of Australia’s largest smelting companies. The contract will last for three months, during which time approximately 700 tonnes of drummed filter cake sludge will be shipped to Queensland for treatment at Virotec’s treatment facility.

The Directors of the Virotec group are pleased to advise that licences have been issued for key markets in Europe.

30/06/08 - Virotec goes private

On 25 June 2008, Virotec International plc completed its merger with the Hydrodec Group plc. On the completion of the merger, Virotec’s management agreed to complete to buyout of the Virotec business from the new merged group.

13/03/08 - Solid Waste Contract in Australia

The Directors of Virotec Global Solutions Pty Ltd are pleased to announce that Virotec has entered into a contract to supply ViroFlow™ Technology solid waste treatment services to Nyrstar Hobart Pty Ltd (formerly part of Zinifex Ltd) (“Nyrstar”). The contract is to treat mercurous filter cake and is expected to generate up to AUD$3.5 Million in revenue.  Work on the contract will commence in the first quarter of 2008 and is expected to be completed by the end of the fourth quarter of 2008.
