New ViroBond™ Reagent - proven to be the best treatment available for CCA contaminated sites.

Virotec's patented ViroBond™ Reagent removes the danger of copper, trivalent chomium and arsenic bu immobilising these metals into an insoluble, non-reactive sediment. It can be applied in a simple, direct method to contaminated bodies of water, used to treat contaminated soil or regulated CCA waste.

For the timber preservation industry world-wide it is a new, economical and practical solution to a challenging, environmental problem.

ViroBond™ Reagent - CCA Contamination.

> A TECHNICAL DATA SHEET detailing why ViroFlow™ Technology using ViroBond™ reagent is a breakthrough, economical treatment – with the exhausted material disposable as a non-hazardous solid residue.

> A CASE STUDY showing how ViroBond™ reagent was applied at LARGE CCA TREATMENT PLANT to successfully reduce copper, chrome and arsenic levels in leachate ponds to well below discharge requirements.

> This CASE STUDY documents how BLAYNEY TREATED PINE found ViroFlow™ Technology and ViroBond™ reagent to be a quick, cost-effective treatment for dealing with contaminated leachate ponds.

> This CASE STUDY documents how ViroFlow™ Technology successfully treated HYNE TIMBER's contaminated leachate ponds with ViroBond™ reagent to reduce CCA concentrations to below EPA guidelines and to improve overall water quality.

> This CASE STUDY details how HYNE TIMBER in Yandina, QLD, utilised ViroFlow™ Technology and ViroBond™ reagent to cost-effectively remediate its confined internal moat structures.

> ViroFlow™ Technology was successfully used to treat and safely dispose of contaminated soil and sludge as well as treating a large leachate pond containing high concentrations of CCA for Pilk's Pine in New South Wales, Australia. View this CASE STUDY.

> Portland Pine Products, in Victoria, Australia, sought an economical technology to treat a sedimentation dam's CCA contaminated solids prior to disposal to a landfill. Read more about this CASE STUDY.

> This CASE STUDY details how Parkside Timber in Queensland, Australia, utilised ViroFlow™ Technology for total site remediation when concentrations of leachable copper, chromium and arsenate in contaminated soil needed to be lowered.

EXTRACTS OF TESTIMONIALS FROM VARIOUS CASE STUDIES:

> “After several samples were extracted from our two settling ponds and sent to Virotec’s laboratory for test work, Virotec visited our site and successfully treated both of our settling ponds with outstanding results. Levels of metals in these ponds were reduced dramatically and well below our licence limits...”
Operations Manager, Large CCA Treatment Plant

> “Blayney Treated Pine was in urgent need of a solution for our contaminated leachate pond. Virotec treated the leachate pond within two weeks. The treated water quality had CCA metal levels below the required NEPC (1999) Guidelines for Contaminated Sites... (and) water clarity improved significantly.”
Managing Director, Blayney Treated Pine
